Senior AI / Agent Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior AI / Agent Engineer to own the end‑to‑end development of AI agents that turn raw Dynamics data into reliable, plain‑language business intelligence. This is a hands‑on builder role focused on LLM orchestration, retrieval‑augmented generation, and cost‑efficient SaaS delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship custom engine agents using LangGraph / LangChain from prototype to production.
• Integrate LLMs via Microsoft Foundry (Claude, GPT) and manage prompts, tool definitions, and function calling.
• Implement RAG pipelines with vector stores to ground outputs in Finance & Operations and CRM data.
• Build guard‑railed, policy‑gated architecture with citation‑rich outputs and validation layers.
• Track and optimise token/credit consumption, instrument per‑tenant usage metering, and align costs with revenue.
• Engineer cost‑efficiency through prompt optimisation, caching, model right‑sizing, retrieval tuning, and throttling.
• Own the full lifecycle: design, prototype, evaluate, deploy, maintain, and define test cases for correctness.
• Deploy and operate on Azure (Foundry, Container Apps, Key Vault) and collaborate with technical consultants.

Required profile

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python skills.
• 1–2+ years of hands‑on experience with LLMs and modern AI tooling.
• Direct experience with LangGraph / LangChain and building agentic workflows.
• Experience with RAG, vector‑store technologies, and shipping at least one AI product or feature.
• Understanding of LLM cost drivers and how engineering choices affect them.
