Senior Android Developer – Mobile (Kotlin) – Senior Associate

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our Advisory team in Cairo. In this role you will design, develop and maintain high‑quality Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android frameworks, delivering secure and scalable solutions that create business value.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android apps with Kotlin, Jetpack, Compose and Architecture Components.
• Implement clean, modular architectures such as MVVM and ensure code quality through reviews and standards.
• Apply secure coding practices including EncryptedSharedPreferences, SSL pinning and certificate rotation.
• Optimize performance and memory usage using Android Profiler, LeakCanary and other profiling tools.
• Integrate REST and gRPC APIs, manage offline sync and background tasks with Retrofit, WorkManager and caching strategies.
• Write unit, UI and snapshot tests and contribute to the test‑automation strategy.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines using Gradle, Fastlane and Azure DevOps/Jenkins.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of Android development experience in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, Coroutines/Flow and Android Jetpack libraries.
• Experience with dependency management tools such as Gradle or Maven.
• Solid understanding of secure coding principles and app hardening techniques.
• Proven ability to work in agile teams and communicate effectively.
