Senior Associate – Cybersecurity & Data Privacy

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Cybersecurity & Digital Trust practice in Cairo. The role focuses on delivering data‑privacy and cybersecurity solutions for government and private sector clients across the GCC, helping organisations protect sensitive information and comply with evolving regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a privacy advisor, designing and implementing data‑privacy governance structures, policies and procedures.
• Lead end‑to‑end data‑privacy projects, including budget management, stakeholder coordination and delivery of compliance activities.
• Support clients in addressing technology risk and compliance issues from strategy through execution.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary consulting teams to develop and deliver cyber‑resilience solutions.
• Develop and deliver training and awareness programmes on data‑privacy best practices.
• Assist in the design of secure architectures and technology solutions that align with client objectives.
• Stay current with regional data‑privacy laws and cybersecurity best practices to provide proactive guidance.

Required profile

• University degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Security, Law).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with senior client stakeholders.
• Proactive, flexible and able to thrive in a fast‑paced consulting environment.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in GCC data‑privacy regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality.
