Senior Associate – Machine Learning (ETIC)

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate in Machine Learning to join its Advisory team in Cairo (ETIC). You will work on data‑driven solutions, applying machine learning and natural language processing to create measurable business impact for clients and the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop data‑science and machine‑learning assets for PwC and its clients.
• Contribute clean, reusable code to the Data Science codebase.
• Deploy, monitor, and manage ML models in production, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Embed Responsible AI practices throughout the model lifecycle, addressing fairness, transparency, bias mitigation and regulatory compliance.
• Help shape the strategy and growth of PwC’s data‑science capability.
• Translate analytical insights into compelling business stories and proposals.
• Present findings to senior internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in statistical analysis and machine‑learning theory.
• Proven ability to formulate hypotheses, select appropriate statistical tests and interpret results.
• Experience delivering end‑to‑end ML solutions, from data ingestion to model deployment and monitoring.
• Comfortable working in an agile delivery environment, participating in sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required skills

• Regression, classification and clustering techniques.
• Algorithms such as random forests, support vector machines (SVM) and gradient boosting.
• Model validation, bias‑variance trade‑off, regularisation and feature selection.
• Full‑pipeline development: data ingestion, feature engineering, training, validation, CI/CD and monitoring.
• Production troubleshooting (drift, latency, scaling) and performance optimisation.
• Agile methodologies and sprint participation.
