Senior Backend Developer (PHP Laravel)

About the role

ComplyMarket is rebuilding its core compliance platform from the ground up. As a Senior Backend Developer you will design, develop, and maintain high‑performance Laravel services that power the product for global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using PHP 8+ and Laravel 12.
• Implement and extend Livewire components for dynamic, reactive interfaces.
• Collaborate with frontend teams (React/Next.js) to integrate APIs and ensure seamless end‑to‑end functionality.
• Work with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, contributing to schema design and optimization.
• Apply solid OOP principles and clean‑architecture patterns to deliver maintainable, testable code.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and security for enterprise‑level deployments.
• Integrate third‑party services and APIs as required.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, write unit and integration tests, and use Docker for local development and containerized deployments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience with PHP and Laravel.
• Strong understanding of OOP and clean‑code principles.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in an agile team.
