Senior Data Analyst

About the role

Al Ahly Momkn, a fast‑evolving fintech subsidiary of Al Ahly Capital, is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to support reporting and analytics across the organization. You will work closely with finance, data engineering, and BI teams to turn raw data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Extract, transform, and validate data from Oracle Database for reporting and analytics.
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries and Python scripts to clean and harmonise data.
• Develop, maintain, and publish Power BI dashboards visualising key business and financial metrics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements, business logic, and metric definitions.
• Partner with Data Engineers to ensure data pipelines deliver the correct format and quality.
• Monitor data quality, identify inconsistencies, and resolve issues proactively.
• Document data logic, transformation rules, and dashboard specifications.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills to work with both technical and non‑technical teams.
• Familiarity with financial data concepts is a plus.

Required skills

• SQL (experience with Oracle Database or similar RDBMS).
• Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Power BI for building and publishing dashboards.
