Senior DevOps Engineer (FinTech)

About the role

Al Ahly Momkn, a fast‑growing fintech subsidiary of Al Ahly Capital, is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to drive automation, reliability and scalability of its payment platforms. You will work closely with development, QA and systems teams to deliver high‑quality, continuously integrated services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain automated build, deployment and testing pipelines.
• Provide technical guidance on DevOps best practices to development teams.
• Maintain and optimise DevOps infrastructure (servers, storage, networking) on Linux and Windows.
• Implement CI/CD processes using tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube and ELK.
• Automate build, release, deployment and configuration activities with scripting (Python, Bash, Groovy, JavaScript).
• Lead migration and upgrade projects to ensure smooth transitions.
• Integrate and manage container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker) and micro‑services architecture.
• Collaborate with vendors for support and resources.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 4 years of hands‑on DevOps experience.
• Strong background in Linux administration and IT infrastructure (DNS, proxy, networking).

Required skills

• Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker.
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, SonarQube, ELK).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.
• Scripting languages: Python, Bash, Groovy, JavaScript.
• Version control and collaboration tools: GitHub, Jira.
• Micro‑services architecture.
