Senior HR Specialist – Legal Background Required

About the role

Nexus Analytica, a technology company serving the energy sector, is seeking an experienced Senior HR Specialist with a strong legal background. The role will oversee the full employee lifecycle while ensuring all HR practices comply with Egyptian labor law.

Key responsibilities

• Manage onboarding, contract renewals, transfers, promotions, disciplinary actions and off‑boarding.
• Prepare, review and maintain employment contracts, amendments, confidentiality agreements and other HR documentation.
• Maintain accurate personnel files, monitor attendance, leave, probation periods and contract expiries.
• Support payroll preparation with correct attendance and compensation data.
• Coordinate performance evaluations, probation reviews and handle employee grievances confidentially.
• Develop, implement and periodically review HR policies and internal procedures.
• Ensure HR practices comply with Egyptian Labor Law and advise management on legal implications of employment decisions.
• Monitor legislative changes and update policies accordingly; liaise with external legal counsel when needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior HR professional, preferably in a technology or energy‑focused environment.
• Formal legal education (law degree) or substantial professional experience in labor/employment law.
• In‑depth knowledge of Egyptian labor legislation and its application to HR processes.
• Ability to work independently, manage day‑to‑day HR matters and advise senior management.
