Senior Information Technology Auditor

About the role

Provide assurance over the effectiveness and adequacy of IT controls across the bank by reviewing IT General Controls, infrastructure controls, and IT operations. Proactively advise the business on the implementation of new systems, procedures, and controls to strengthen security and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate in preparing a comprehensive Risk‑Based Audit Plan covering all IT activities and functionalities of the bank.
• Execute the approved internal audit plan and other assignments in compliance with policies, IIA standards, laws and regulations.
• Maintain high‑quality audit, investigation and special review assignments, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
• Review the bank’s IT infrastructure, identify risk areas and communicate deficiencies to the IT and Security Audit Director.
• Prepare and present draft and final audit reports with findings, observations and recommendations; attend opening and closing meetings.
• Follow up with auditees on action plans and brief management on corrective actions.
• Provide consulting services on information systems issues, offering guidance on best practices for IT security, risk management, auditing and compliance.
• Stay current on industry trends in technology, IT security, risk management, auditing and compliance, and contribute to internal staff awareness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, IT audit or information security, including leadership responsibilities.
• Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and standards related to IT security and auditing.
