Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will join SoficoPharm’s finance team in Giza, Egypt, to lead financial and operational audits across the company’s pharmaceutical distribution business. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on evaluating internal controls, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute financial and operational audit programs in line with industry standards.
• Test transactions, review accounting records and assess the effectiveness of internal processes.
• Prepare clear, concise audit reports with actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, supply‑chain and senior management to communicate findings and support corrective actions.
• Monitor follow‑up on audit recommendations and track implementation progress.
• Stay up‑to‑date with regulatory changes and best practices in internal auditing for the pharmaceutical sector.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Professional certification such as CIA or CPA is an advantage.
• Proven experience conducting internal audits, preferably in pharmaceuticals, healthcare or distribution/logistics.
• Strong analytical ability and high ethical standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings to stakeholders.
