Senior Linux System Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Linux System Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of our customers’ complex IT infrastructures. The role involves 24/7/365 server administration, troubleshooting, and the delivery of customized solutions while leading a small team of junior administrators.

Key responsibilities

• Research, propose and implement automated approaches for routine system‑administration tasks.
• Monitor Linux and Windows servers, maintaining SLA‑defined uptime and proactively addressing stability issues.
• Support and maintain complex network communications infrastructure.
• Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques, perform root‑cause analysis and design tailored solutions for client environments.
• Coordinate hand‑overs with previous shift crews and provide on‑call consulting for internal and external customers.
• Supervise, train and evaluate junior operations staff, guiding technical problem‑solving as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Linux system administration, with exposure to Windows server environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage escalated incidents and deliver solutions under pressure.
• Strong leadership skills to oversee a small team of administrators.
• Availability for on‑call support and shift hand‑overs.
