Senior Manager – GCP Cloud Solution Architect

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the design and development of end‑to‑end cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role focuses on aligning cloud solutions with business objectives, ensuring scalability, security and cost‑efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive GCP architectures, technical specifications and migration strategies for cloud‑native applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess existing systems and propose innovative cloud solutions.
• Provide expert guidance during implementation, ensuring adherence to architectural best practices and GCP standards.
• Define and enforce cloud governance, security controls and compliance measures within GCP environments.
• Conduct architecture reviews, performance optimisations and troubleshooting to maintain reliability and efficiency.
• Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and evaluate their relevance to the organisation’s strategy.
• Act as a thought leader, contributing to best‑practice development and methodology for GCP.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 13 years of experience as a Cloud Solution Architect, with a strong focus on GCP.
• Proven track record designing scalable, highly available cloud solutions while meeting security and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, capable of presenting technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
