Senior Mechanical Engineer – Proposals and Tenders

About the role

The Senior Mechanical Engineer – Proposals and Tenders will review mechanical drawings, specifications and BOQs for infrastructure projects, preparing accurate quantity take‑offs and technical scopes. The role ensures proposals meet RFP requirements and supports value engineering throughout the tendering process.

Key responsibilities

• Review mechanical drawings, specifications and BOQs for infrastructure projects.
• Prepare mechanical quantity take‑offs, technical scopes and compliance checks.
• Develop technical proposals, clarifications, deviations and tender documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants and designers to resolve technical issues.
• Support value engineering and ensure proposals align with RFP requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in Mechanical Technical Office, proposals or tendering.
• Proven experience in infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong experience with plumbing and firefighting systems.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical drawings, specifications and BOQs.
