Senior Network Engineer (Remote, Full‑Time)

About the role

We are a 12‑person managed services provider looking for a senior engineer to join our fully virtual team. The role is remote, full‑time and aligned with Pacific Time (8 AM‑5 PM San Diego). You will work across a broad Microsoft and networking stack, handling escalations, migrations and security incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in daily 15‑minute stand‑up on Microsoft Teams and take ownership of escalated tickets.
• Perform identity work in Entra ID and Active Directory, including conditional access and MFA troubleshooting.
• Manage networking devices such as SonicWall, Fortinet, Sophos and Ubiquiti firewalls, VPN tunnels, VLANs and DNS.
• Maintain Windows Server, Hyper‑V, VMware, Exchange, storage and backup solutions.
• Analyze security alerts, differentiate true threats from noise, and document resolutions in Hudu.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience across servers, Microsoft 365, firewalls and workstations.
• Near‑perfect spoken English with minimal accent.
• Methodical troubleshooting approach and strong documentation habits.
• Reliable internet, backup power/connection plan, and comfort with camera and phone interactions with American clients.
