Senior Network Security Engineer

About the role

The Senior Network Security Engineer will lead the design, implementation and maintenance of advanced security solutions across the organization’s infrastructure. This position requires deep technical expertise and the ability to troubleshoot complex security incidents while ensuring optimal performance and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and configure next‑generation firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, encryption and other security technologies.
• Integrate security solutions into existing network architecture following industry best practices and security frameworks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve high‑severity security incidents in collaboration with senior teams and vendors.
• Analyze system performance, optimize configurations and ensure scalability and reliability.
• Serve as escalation point for client‑facing technical queries and produce incident reports with actionable recommendations.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers, sharing expertise and promoting best practices.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, configuration guides and security incident logs.
• Stay current with emerging threats, technologies and pursue continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 5 years (60 months) of hands‑on experience in network security engineering.
• Proven ability to lead complex security projects and mentor technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on delivering secure solutions.
