Senior Principal Consultant – Segment Solutions

About the role

Schneider Electric is looking for a Senior Principal Consultant to lead early‑stage customer engagement for the Gas & Offshore business. Reporting to the Global Gas & Offshore Business Leader, you will shape the segment’s value proposition, influence project specifications at Pre‑FEED and FEED stages, and drive growth through electrification, digitalisation and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the LNG & Gas Processing and Offshore sub‑segment strategy, focusing on electrification, digitalisation and emerging technologies.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert, develop the Unique Value Proposition and provide thought‑leadership to regional sales teams.
• Build and manage a cross‑functional global network of Business Units, Regions and key stakeholders to deliver segment strategies.
• Support Global Strategic and Regional Accounts in identifying opportunities, partnerships and pilot projects.
• Co‑develop innovative solutions with customers and industry partners, accelerating adoption of new technologies.
• Drive pipeline creation and early project engagement, working with pre‑sales and prescription teams to influence specifications.
• Monitor market trends, investment projects and industry developments to maintain competitive positioning.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in consulting sales, engineering, product support or project sales within LNG, gas processing or offshore sectors.
• Proven leadership in developing growth strategies and managing complex customer engagements.
• Strong ability to collaborate across global teams and influence senior stakeholders.
