Senior Procurement Specialist – Leather Manufacturing

About the role

The Senior Procurement Specialist will lead the end‑to‑end purchasing process for a leather manufacturing company. This role ensures the timely acquisition of raw materials, manages import and export activities, and supports the supply chain in meeting production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle from purchase request to supplier delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to guarantee on‑time arrival of imported goods.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and international trade regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and align purchasing activities with internal department needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience.
• Strong knowledge of import & export operations and international trade documentation.
• Proven ability in supplier sourcing, negotiation, and vendor management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Good command of English.
