Senior Production Planner - Glass Manufacturing

About the role

The Senior Production Planner will lead the planning function for glass manufacturing, translating customer demand into actionable production schedules and ensuring alignment with sales and logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and coordinate manufacturing requirement plans based on firm and tentative customer needs.
• Provide reports, recommendations and accurate documentation to management.
• Maintain regular communication with the Sales team to capture changes and optimise reaction time.
• Verify changes against manufacturing lead times and planning fences.
• Attend relevant meetings and continuously supply understandable information to superiors and peers.
• Collaborate with Logistics on schedule analysis, reconciliation and production planning.
• Prepare periodic statistical reports, monitor key performance measures and issue performance metrics to relevant departments.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and develop plans to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in an engineering discipline (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or related).
• 4–7 years of relevant professional experience in production planning.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; French is an advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel automation (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros, VBA scripting).
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and project‑management capabilities.
