Senior Relationship Manager – Small & Midcap

About the role

The Senior Relationship Manager for Small & Midcap clients will act as the primary point of contact, coordinating across product teams to deliver comprehensive banking solutions. You will own client account plans, drive profitability, and ensure high‑quality service throughout the relationship lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor overall client profitability, share of wallet, and cross‑selling opportunities in collaboration with product managers.
• Prepare and complete credit memos, support analysts in memo writing, and present to credit committees.
• Develop and maintain detailed account plans, lead round‑table discussions, and participate in working teams to design bespoke solutions.
• Conduct annual client reviews, identify improvement areas, and mentor analysts on operational tasks.
• Manage end‑to‑end sales cycles from pitching to contract negotiation, working closely with product teams.
• Identify new business opportunities within designated sectors and maintain strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a deep understanding of credit risk policies and facility structuring.
• Comprehensive knowledge of banking products such as lending, cash management, FX, treasury, and investment banking.
• Awareness of competitor offerings, pricing, and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
