Senior Software Engineer - Remote

About the role

In this contract position you will apply your software engineering expertise to help train next‑generation AI systems. Working remotely, you will shape how models learn and reason by providing high‑quality, real‑world code inputs. No prior AI experience is required; your domain knowledge and coding skills are what matter.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute expert‑level knowledge to bug fixing, feature implementation, codebase refactoring, and performance optimization across multiple programming languages.
• Analyze and enhance software codebases to ensure clarity, maintainability, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide feedback and insights for AI model improvement.
• Develop robust solutions and document best practices to support scalable AI training workflows.
• Evaluate existing system architecture and recommend technical strategies for optimal results.
• Communicate technical findings and project progress clearly in written and verbal form.
• Support continuous improvement of AI systems by applying real‑world coding expertise in challenging scenarios.

Required profile

• Proven experience in debugging complex software issues and delivering maintainable solutions.
• Strong background in feature development, codebase refactoring, and performance tuning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Track record of successful collaboration in remote, cross‑functional teams.
• Experience with large‑scale, distributed codebases is a plus.
