Senior Solid Production Pharmacist

About the role

The Senior Solid Production Pharmacist will oversee multiple manufacturing machines, ensuring compliance with GMP and company SOPs while meeting production targets. This role combines hands‑on operation with supervisory responsibilities in a fast‑paced pharmaceutical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and execute daily production activities for solid dosage forms, including granulation, compression, coating, and encapsulation.
• Ensure all manufacturing operations comply with GMP, internal SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor processes to achieve quality, yield, and efficiency objectives.
• Review and complete batch manufacturing records (BMRs) accurately and on schedule.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, Engineering, and Warehouse teams to maintain smooth workflow.
• Oversee proper use, cleaning, and maintenance of production equipment.
• Participate in deviation investigations, CAPA implementation, and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Train production staff on SOPs and GMP practices and support regulatory audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with a grade of “Very good” or “Excellent”.
• 3‑5 years of experience in solid dosage manufacturing.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Ability to work under close supervision while handling multiple machines.
