Senior Systems Administrator

About the role

FlairsTech is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to design, maintain, and support its hybrid infrastructure across on‑premises data centers and public clouds. You will work with a range of technologies, ensuring reliability, security, and performance for critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support infrastructure on‑premises and in AWS, Azure, and VMware environments using IaC tools (Terraform & OpenTofu).
• Implement security best practices, monitor backups, and handle incident resolution and escalation.
• Provide second‑level support to help‑desk teams for system and infrastructure issues.
• Administer Windows Server and Ubuntu Linux operating systems.
• Manage Office 365 accounts, Azure services, and load balancers (AWS ELB, Nginx).
• Apply patches, security updates, and SSL certificate renewals.
• Track infrastructure assets, ensure high availability through clustering and redundancy, and maintain DNS, DHCP, CA, and file servers.
• Document procedures and share knowledge across teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience in systems administration and cloud operations.
• Strong proficiency with Amazon Web Services; experience with Azure and VMware is a plus.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Solid understanding of networking, Linux and Windows environments.
• Familiarity with ticketing tools such as JIRA.
