Services and Solutions Procurement Expert

About the role

The Services and Solutions Procurement Expert will lead the end‑to‑end sourcing process for high‑impact projects, ensuring optimal quality, cost, and delivery performance. You will work closely with internal project teams and external suppliers to drive continuous improvement and risk mitigation across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Issue RFP/RFQ documents, negotiate contracts, and secure the best quality‑time‑cost ratio.
• Manage supplier performance throughout the lifecycle, including quality improvement and delivery reliability.
• Analyse purchase cost breakdowns using appropriate evaluation tools.
• Draft contracts that enforce specifications, allocate risk, and meet total cost of ownership criteria.
• Define purchasing strategies for high‑stake commodities, prioritising tasks according to project schedules.
• Oversee supplier selection, tendering, cash collection, and bid tabulation.
• Assess and mitigate supply‑chain risks through audits, contractual clauses, and development plans.
• Handle purchase orders ethically, secure assets, and manage delivery risk mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with project teams to address change orders and customer expectations, selecting flexible suppliers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Power Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of purchasing experience.
• Technical engineering background with a generalist purchasing scope.
• Strong business and project understanding.
• Leadership, customer orientation, and team‑building abilities.
