Shipping and Warehouse Manager

About the role

The Shipping and Warehouse Manager leads safety, efficiency and continuous improvement across all glass movement operations at Guardian Industries. This role ensures a compliant environment, optimises material flow and builds a high‑performing team that serves internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and strengthen a safe, compliant warehouse operation, fostering a strong EH&S culture.
• Optimise and transform glass movement processes to maximise efficiency, reliability and service levels.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives across storage, handling, loading, packaging, systems and equipment.
• Develop warehouse teams to exceed KPIs such as claims, scrap, OTIF and inventory health.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, minimise waste and maintain safe operation of facilities and equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven leadership experience with direct supervisory responsibility in a manufacturing or heavy‑industry environment.
• Experience leading warehouse, logistics or material‑handling operations within a manufacturing setting.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to influence and collaborate across all organisational levels.
