Site Engineer – Architectural Finishing (Alexandria)

About the role

We are looking for a Site Engineer to supervise and manage architectural finishing works on our projects in Smouha, Alexandria. The role involves ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery of finishing works while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all architectural finishing works on site.
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications before execution.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor workmanship quality and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Inspect and approve finishing materials and mock‑ups prior to installation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Monitor project schedules, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct quantity take‑offs and review subcontractors' progress and payment claims.
• Resolve technical and site‑related issues in coordination with the Project Manager and design team.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with Civil, MEP, and other disciplines to avoid conflicts.
• Manage snagging and de‑snagging activities and ensure successful project handover.
• Attend site meetings and maintain accurate project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in architectural site supervision, especially in finishing works.
• Strong knowledge of finishing materials, installation methods, and quality control procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and work effectively under pressure.
