Tech Lead – Platform Engineering (AWS)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead to design, build and evolve an enterprise‑grade cloud platform on AWS. The role will drive platform standards, reusable infrastructure patterns and self‑service capabilities while mentoring engineers and championing a Platform‑as‑a‑Product mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain enterprise‑grade platform capabilities on AWS, including reusable infrastructure modules, deployment templates and golden paths.
• Define and enforce Infrastructure as Code standards and governance using Terraform.
• Architect and evolve CI/CD pipelines for containerized and serverless workloads with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins and related tools.
• Improve developer experience through self‑service tooling, onboarding workflows and reusable platform templates.
• Develop and operate observability solutions covering logs, metrics, traces, dashboards and alerting.
• Integrate security scanning, compliance and policy enforcement into engineering workflows.
• Support multi‑account AWS environments, landing zones and governance initiatives.
• Mentor platform engineers, provide technical leadership and promote engineering best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading platform engineering initiatives in large, multi‑team environments.
• Strong background in cloud architecture, especially AWS.
• Demonstrated ability to define standards, governance and best practices for infrastructure and CI/CD.
• Experience mentoring engineers and driving a product‑oriented platform mindset.
