Technical Architect – Live Events

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of technical solutions for live events, exhibitions, conferences and entertainment productions. The role combines creative design, engineering expertise and project management to ensure flawless execution of audiovisual, lighting, staging and broadcast systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop technical concepts and detailed designs (drawings, schematics, production documents) based on client briefs and venue specifications.
• Create stage, AV, lighting, LED, rigging and power distribution solutions and conduct site inspections to verify feasibility.
• Collaborate with account managers, producers and creative teams to define budgets, equipment lists and resource plans.
• Lead and coordinate technical teams and external suppliers throughout setup, rehearsals, live execution and dismantling.
• Research emerging event technologies, propose innovative approaches and ensure compliance with safety regulations and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Event Technology or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in technical production, event technology or live‑event operations.
• Proven ability to design and manage complex AV, lighting, LED and networking solutions for large‑scale events.
• Experience with CAD tools such as Vectorworks or AutoCAD and knowledge of rigging standards and safety regulations.
