Technical Engineer – Design & Production

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Engineer to join our design and production team, supporting the creation of advertising and signage solutions. The role combines detailed engineering work with close collaboration across design, procurement, and manufacturing departments.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret 3D and AutoCAD drawings to develop practical production solutions.
• Prepare accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) for display stands, booths, exhibition structures and related items.
• Produce engineering drawings applying value‑engineering principles to optimise cost and feasibility.
• Maintain organized archives of all engineering data, drawings and material specifications.
• Coordinate project timelines with the Technical/Design Head and Production Management.
• Guide manufacturing teams on fabrication and assembly methods, ensuring compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
• Work with Procurement to expedite raw material and component purchases.
• Introduce new tools, materials and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts – Industrial Design.
• 2‑5 years of experience in the advertising, signage or related industry.
• Strong ability to read and analyse technical drawings.
• Excellent task prioritisation and time‑management skills.
