Technical Office Manager

About the role

The Technical Office Manager will lead the architectural and construction technical team, ensuring design compliance, seamless coordination among disciplines, and effective use of BIM tools throughout project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Review technical submissions, design layouts and material specifications to verify compliance with project standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external design teams to assess feasibility and functionality of architectural solutions.
• Manage design changes, communicate updates and ensure proper implementation.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors and quantity surveyors to convey requirements and handle change orders.
• Resolve design conflicts across architectural, structural and MEP disciplines.
• Develop and maintain BIM models, ensuring they reflect current project progress.
• Produce, modify and manage architectural documentation using Revit.
• Oversee technical department issues, document project challenges and monitor performance metrics.
• Plan and track project budget and schedule in collaboration with the team.
• Lead progress and technical meetings, propose solutions and maintain detailed project records.
• Coach, develop and evaluate engineering team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in architectural design offices and construction technical offices.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design, construction methods and building regulations.
• Proven problem‑solving ability, especially in resolving design conflicts.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and leadership skills.
