About the role
The Trading and Vessel Operator will ensure seamless service across the full trade lifecycle, from contract signing to cash collection, while overseeing the efficient operation of Holcim's time‑chartered vessel fleet.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end trade processes for bulk carriers, containers and multimodal transport.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers and ship owners to execute trade contracts.
- Monitor vessel performance and ensure optimal utilisation of the chartered fleet.
- Handle commercial execution, including contract administration and cash collection.
- Support operational management of seaborne logistics and bulk cargo movements.
Required profile
- Proven experience in maritime logistics, bulk carrier operations or related trade activities.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage contracts and cash flows.
- Familiarity with seaborne import/export processes and multimodal transportation.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with customers, suppliers and ship owners.
