Treasury Supervisor

About the role

The Treasury Supervisor will oversee treasury operations for the Business Unit across Egypt, Iraq and Libya, ensuring efficient cash management, timely payments and strong banking relationships. Reporting to the Group Head of Treasury with a dotted‑line to the Business Unit CFO, the role combines local execution with group‑level treasury governance and involves regular travel to Iraq.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and develop relationships with local and international banks, keeping KYC records up‑to‑date and managing online banking platforms and corporate credit cards.
• Coordinate cash management and payments to suppliers, employees and government entities in partnership with Group Treasury and local finance teams.
• Prepare short‑term and medium‑term cash‑flow forecasts, monitor actual cash positions, and recommend actions to optimise liquidity and working capital across the three markets.
• Support trade finance operations for export activities, ensuring compliance with trade finance requirements.
• Contribute to group‑wide treasury projects and initiatives under the direction of the Group Head of Treasury.

Required profile

• Reports directly to the Group Head of Treasury with a dotted‑line to the Business Unit CFO.
• Willingness to travel frequently to Iraq (approximately 30% of the time).
• Experience operating in multiple regulatory environments (Egypt, Iraq, Libya) and handling cross‑border treasury activities.
