Warehouse Supervisor – Logistics & Inventory Management

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee all inbound and outbound activities at Al Hambra's duty‑free warehouse in Hurghada. You will ensure compliance with customs regulations, maintain accurate inventory, and lead a team of storekeepers, laborers, and forklift operators.

Key responsibilities

• Verify incoming shipments against manifests, customs declarations and supporting documents.
• Monitor duty‑free quotas and tax‑exempt products to ensure full compliance.
• Coordinate with customs authorities during inspections, audits and clearance procedures.
• Implement FIFO and FEFO inventory control methods and manage barcode coding in the WMS.
• Lead scheduled and surprise stock counts, reconciling physical inventory with system records.
• Inspect goods for quality standards, manage damaged or expired items and prepare disposal reports.
• Supervise temperature and humidity controls for sensitive products such as perfumes, cosmetics, chocolates and food items.
• Enforce occupational health, safety and security procedures, especially for flammable and restricted goods.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, duty‑free, retail or related operations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher qualification.
• Strong supervisory abilities with experience in team leadership and task delegation.
• Excellent organizational, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic proficiency in English.
