Accountant

About the role

instashop, part of the Delivery Hero group, is looking for an Accountant in Cairo. The role manages incoming payments by sending invoices to clients and collecting them on time, reconciling accounts, monitoring outstanding receivables and generating reports on payment trends to keep financial records accurate and cash flow healthy.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare reports on online sales, including manual adjustments, discounts, bank charges and commission charges
• Generate weekly reports showing amounts due to InstaShop partners in the UAE and Egypt, ensuring timely and accurate transfers
• Prepare monthly and aging receivables reports for stakeholders and management
• Reconcile accounts receivable and payable with partners so balances match
• Perform monthly commission analysis and calculations for accurate revenue tracking
• Allocate tips monthly to partners, outsourced pickers and MFC pickers in the UAE and Egypt
• Support high-value partners with accounting queries and help with audit support, ERP activities and legal compliance

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role
• Strong organization and multitasking skills, attention to detail and good communication
