Accounting Manager – Finance Operations

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead all accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements while maintaining compliance with local regulations. This role works closely with senior management to provide financial insights that support strategic decision‑making and long‑term planning.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Manage month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing processes, including accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and file corporate tax returns, VAT, payroll taxes, and withholding tax in accordance with Egyptian tax laws.
• Monitor tax law changes and assess impact on the company’s financial operations.
• Lead or support ERP system implementation and coordinate with IT providers and vendors.
• Generate annual financial statements and monthly/ad‑hoc reports for group consolidation.
• Conduct reconciliations between local and group financials to ensure alignment.
• Collaborate with senior management on budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Manage end‑to‑end payroll for a large employee base, ensuring correct gross‑to‑net calculations and tax withholdings.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Experience coordinating audits and working with external auditors.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
