Accounting Manager

About the role

Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records and statements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and cash transactions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Develop and maintain internal controls over financial processes.
• Analyze financial data, variances, and key indicators, providing recommendations to management.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, supplying required information and documents.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Lead and develop the accounting team to ensure efficient and accurate performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Experience in manufacturing or agricultural companies preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
