Accounting & Reporting Associate

About the role

The Accounting & Reporting Associate will support Nestlé Egypt’s finance function by ensuring accurate financial reporting for assigned markets in the CWAR and ESAR regions. You will work closely with market teams to maintain balance‑sheet integrity, perform GL reconciliations, and meet key performance indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 100% FTQ for Financial Reporting (CACT) for assigned markets.
• Analyze and follow up on balance‑sheet open items to ensure compliance with Nestlé Internal Balance Sheet Standards (NIBS) and Nestlé Accounting Standards (NAS).
• Execute PEC activities on time and accurately for the GL Reconciliation and Reporting team.
• Partner with market teams to improve aging of open GL line items and maintain quality closing booklet reconciliations.
• Participate in projects aimed at enhancing productivity, reducing costs, and streamlining reconciliation processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration (Accounting/Finance) or Economics.
• Minimum 2 years of proven performance in financial accounting or accounting operations.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and practices.
• Proficiency in English and, where applicable, the local market language.
