Accounting Supervisor

About the role

The Accounting Supervisor will lead the daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate transaction recording and compliance with IFRS and company policies. This role coordinates with multiple departments to resolve financial issues and supports the preparation of management reports.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and review daily accounting activities, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Oversee month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing processes.
• Monitor Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and intercompany transactions.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment for fixed assets and inventory.
• Support internal and external auditors with schedules and documentation.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to internal controls.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and workload distribution for junior accountants.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor junior staff.
• Strong analytical skills and high accuracy in financial review.
