Senior Accountant

About the role

The ideal candidate will have solid accounting experience with exposure to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, taxes, bank transactions, and reconciliations. They will be detail‑oriented, organized, and analytical, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day‑to‑day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities, including invoices, payments, collections, and customer/vendor balances.
• Support Treasury activities, including cash management, bank transactions, and bank reconciliations.
• Handle tax‑related accounting and compliance requirements.
• Manage employee and company custodial accounts and ensure proper reconciliation and documentation.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Assist with audits and prepare required financial documentation.
• Ensure accurate accounting records and compliance with applicable regulations.

Required profile

• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Egyptian tax regulations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems.
