AI/ML Manager

About the role

One Bank Ltd is building the first digital‑native bank in Egypt and seeks an AI/ML Manager to lead the development of intelligent systems that power fraud prevention, eKYC verification and personalized product recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and production‑scale core machine‑learning algorithms for fraud detection, anti‑money‑laundering monitoring and behavioral cross‑sell.
• Implement descriptive, predictive and prescriptive AI models, recommendation engines and generative AI solutions.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate models into real‑time banking workflows.
• Mentor junior data scientists and communicate model logic to non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or Machine‑Learning Engineer with a proven track record of deploying models to production.
• B.Sc. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI or Statistics; certifications in deep‑learning frameworks are a plus.
• Strong grasp of probability, linear algebra, loss optimisation and evaluation metrics for highly imbalanced data (e.g., AUC‑ROC, F1‑Score).
• Experience building real‑time transactional classification models for fraud or AML.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Scikit‑Learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, PyTorch and Hugging Face libraries.
• Natural Language Processing, especially for Arabic text.
• Computer Vision techniques for ID verification.
