Assistant Manager Demand Planning

About the role

Talabat is looking for an Assistant Manager Demand Planning to lead the demand planning and replenishment function for Tmart stores and warehouses in Egypt. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal stock levels, accurate forecasting, and smooth coordination with suppliers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Organise the transition to third‑party logistics (3PL) and manage related relationships.
• Accountable for overall demand planning and replenishment across Tmart stores and warehouses.
• Manage stock valued at approximately AED 20 million and issue around 8,000 purchase orders weekly.
• Provide timely analysis and reporting of inventory and purchase forecasts.
• Deliver demand‑planning insights, initiatives and stock‑holding optimisation aligned with business plans.
• Identify and implement solutions to resolve stock issues in warehouses and stores.
• Guide store supervisors and administrators to ensure smooth workflow.
• Collaborate proactively with commercial and operations teams to protect supply continuity.
• Lead and develop a team of four demand planners.

Required profile

• Proven experience in demand planning, inventory management or supply‑chain operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large stock values and high‑volume purchase order processes.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
• Leadership experience, including managing a small team of planners.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with cross‑functional stakeholders.
