Assistant Manager – Demand Planning

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Demand Planning to lead demand planning and replenishment for Tmart stores and warehouses in Egypt. You will drive the transition to third‑party logistics, manage supplier relationships and ensure stock availability aligns with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Organise the transition to 3PL, manage partner relations and implement Egypt best practices.
• Own demand planning and replenishment for all Tmart stores and distribution centres, supervising a team of four demand planners.
• Manage inventory worth approximately AED 20 million and issue around 8,000 purchase orders weekly.
• Analyse and report on inventory levels and purchase forecasts accurately and on time.
• Provide insights, initiatives and ageing‑stock optimisation to meet the business plan and supplier service levels.
• Identify and implement solutions for stock issues in warehouses and stores.
• Guide store supervisors and administrators to ensure smooth workflow.
• Collaborate proactively with commercial and operations teams to protect supply continuity.

Required profile

• Proven experience in FMCG demand planning and replenishment.
• Hands‑on experience in warehouse management or 3PL partner coordination.
• Strong data orientation, attention to detail and tech‑savvy mindset.
• Ability to interact with senior executives and manage multiple stakeholder expectations.
• Leadership experience with supervisory responsibilities and cross‑functional coordination.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
