Assistant Operations Manager

About the role

The Assistant Operations Manager supports daily operational activities in logistics and international trade, coordinating shipments, documentation, and communication with suppliers, clients, and logistics partners. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Alexandria, Egypt.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor workflows, track orders and ensure timely execution of import and export processes.
• Assist in optimizing operational procedures and maintaining compliance with trade regulations.
• Contribute to performance reporting, process improvement initiatives and collaborate with senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external collaboration.

Required skills

• Trade documentation and shipping processes.
• Trade compliance and customs clearance (mainly import).
• Freight forwarding pricing and overseas handling management.
• Supply chain coordination and IOR operational processing.
• Proficiency with common office software and ERP/logistics platforms.
