Assistant Team Leader – Accounts Receivable

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Team Leader to manage our Accounts Receivable function within Juhayna Food Industries, a leading dairy and juice producer in Egypt. The role supports the finance team by ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collections, and effective reconciliation of customer accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Analyze account variances and provide explanations or corrective actions.
• Prepare and distribute monthly customer statements and quarterly/annual balance confirmations.
• Collaborate with sales and collections teams to resolve outstanding receivables and meet collection targets.
• Assist in month‑end closing by ensuring all AR entries and contract clauses are correctly accrued.
• Maintain up‑to‑date AR aging reports and communicate overdue items for prompt collection.
• Support external audits with required documentation and explanations.
• Contribute to weekly and monthly reporting for account managers and internal stakeholders.
• Apply basic tax concepts related to AR processes, such as VAT and withholding.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in accounts receivable or related finance functions.
• Strong analytical abilities with a focus on variance analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and solve problems proactively.
