Assistant/Associate Professor of Interior Design (Full‑time)

About the role

The Faculty of Art and Design at King Salman International University is seeking a full‑time faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in Interior Design. The appointment begins in February 2026 and involves teaching, research, and service responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Teach 3‑4 interior design courses per semester, including classroom, laboratory, and distance‑learning formats.
• Prepare and update teaching materials, examinations, and project guidelines.
• Advise and mentor undergraduate students, supervise independent study projects, and evaluate presentations.
• Conduct research and creative activities in interior design.
• Participate in departmental service, cooperative extension, and administrative duties.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Interior Design.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience after completing the Ph.D.
• Excellent command of English.
• Proficiency in using computers for teaching.

Required skills

• Competency with interior design industry software.
