BIM Manager

About the role

Maramer Contracting Company is looking for a BIM Manager in Cairo. The role covers setting firm-wide BIM standards, managing project BIM execution plans and common data environments, mentoring BIM coordinators and modelers, and working with the IT department on software and cloud resources.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, update and enforce firm-wide BIM standards, templates, object libraries and workflows
• Author and implement project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and define digital delivery requirements for client approval
• Set up, manage and audit Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms to support multi-disciplinary collaboration
• Manage software deployments, license allocations and plug-in integrations such as Revit and Navisworks
• Explore and deploy automation tools (e.g. Dynamo, Python, API integrations) to reduce repetitive work and speed up drafting
• Partner with IT on software performance, hardware specifications and cloud rendering resources
• Mentor project-level BIM Coordinators and Modelers
• Run quality control audits on project models to ensure data integrity and compliance with company standards

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from a governmental university
• 5 to 8 years of experience

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
• Strong familiarity with international BIM standards
