Business Analyst

About the role

The Business Analyst will combine financial modeling, commercial analysis and market research to support pricing, investment and management decisions for solar and energy infrastructure projects. Working under the Business Analysis Section Head, you will collaborate with Business Development, Finance, Investment, Project Development and Technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and update financial models and analytical schedules for solar PV, BESS, distributed generation and other energy opportunities.
• Collect, validate and organize commercial, financial and technical inputs, documenting sources and assumptions.
• Forecast revenues, operating costs, capital expenditure and cash flows; calculate IRR, NPV and payback, and run sensitivity analyses.
• Support pricing calculations, customer proposals and financing models, preparing materials for lenders and investors.
• Research electricity tariffs, regulations, fuel prices and market trends, and produce concise market updates.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in financial or commercial analysis, corporate finance, project finance or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics or a quantitative discipline.
• Strong analytical foundation, interest in energy and infrastructure, and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables and structured workbooks.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint for clear presentations.
• Experience with financial modeling, forecasting and investment metrics such as IRR, NPV and payback.
