Business Development Manager – Direct & Partnerships

About the role

The Business Development Manager – Direct & Partnerships will drive new business growth for Bupa’s consumer health insurance products in Egypt. Working across direct‑to‑consumer channels and partnership networks, you will build and manage a pipeline of individual customers, affiliations, digital leads and referral partners to achieve sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and deliver initiatives to optimise portfolio performance and exceed growth targets.
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and consultation to closing deals.
• Generate new business through lead generation, prospecting and pipeline management.
• Develop and manage partnerships and affiliations that generate individual customer leads.
• Provide exceptional customer experience with needs‑based advice and product suitability.
• Maintain comprehensive product knowledge of all Bupa consumer offerings.
• Track and report sales performance, pipeline status and conversion rates.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory protocols.
• Support co‑marketing activities with partners and collaborate with Marketing to activate campaigns.
• Act as primary contact for assigned partners, handling follow‑up, reporting and relationship maintenance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years proven experience in B2C sales within the health insurance sector or related financial services.
• Demonstrated record of achieving new‑business targets.
• Strong understanding of the business development process and its interdependencies.
• Preferred FRA (Financial Regulatory Authority) licence.
