Business Development Manager – Remote (MENA Retail)

About the role

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth of Wanzl’s retail solutions across the MENA region while working remotely. The role focuses on acquiring new customers, expanding existing accounts and increasing market share for shop‑fitting and interior solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop key retail accounts, ensuring long‑term relationships and customer satisfaction.
• Generate and qualify new leads in the retail sector, approaching prospects through multiple channels.
• Contribute to market‑share growth and penetration strategies, identifying projects that support business expansion.
• Acquire new customers and projects in the MENA region, tailoring sales strategies and value propositions.
• Support existing regional retail customers, acting as the main point of contact for sales‑related topics.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, preparing analyses to highlight opportunities and risks.
• Manage the product and service portfolio for the region, recommending adjustments based on feedback and market dynamics.
• Collaborate with the global sales team at headquarters to align regional strategies with corporate objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales or business development within the retail or interior‑solutions market.
• Demonstrated ability to manage key accounts and drive new‑customer acquisition, preferably in the MENA region.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in market and competitor analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.
• Willingness to coordinate closely with internal and global stakeholders.
