Business Development Manager – Retail & Shopfitting

About the role

Egybell is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong retail and shopfitting background to drive growth across the MENA region. You will manage key accounts, generate new leads, and expand our market presence in the retail interior sector.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage and develop key retail accounts, building long‑term relationships with decision‑makers.
• Proactively source, research and qualify new leads in the retail sector and convert them into business opportunities.
• Contribute to market‑share growth through targeted penetration strategies and new project identification.
• Acquire and develop new customers and projects in the MENA region with tailored sales strategies.
• Expand the retail portfolio by acquiring shopfitting, store concept and interior solution projects.
• Support existing regional customers, focusing on satisfaction and retention.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs in retail and interior sectors.
• Manage product and service portfolio coverage across the MENA territory.
• Collaborate with the global sales team to align regional and global objectives.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting and achieve agreed sales targets.
• Manage, support and develop resellers, conducting performance reviews and training.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date sales pipeline, prioritising opportunities by strategic relevance.
• Represent the company at trade fairs, industry events and customer meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field.
• 5–10 years of sales experience within the GCC/MENA region.
• Proven experience in the retail industry, preferably with shopfitting or interior solutions.
