Business Modelling & Market Intelligence Manager

About the role

The Business Modelling & Market Intelligence Manager provides fact‑based insight into market dynamics through consumption modelling, competitive intelligence and scenario analysis. Reporting to the Data & Foresight Lead, the role translates complex market data into clear, forward‑looking recommendations that support strategic and commercial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain consumption models across all nicotine categories, integrating legal, illicit, outflow, channel, format and price‑segment dynamics.
• Document assumptions, refresh models regularly and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Develop scenario models to evaluate pricing moves, portfolio changes, tax shifts, competitive actions and macro‑economic impacts.
• Support the Data & Foresight Lead in preparing evidence‑based recommendations for leadership forums.
• Serve as the reference point for market sizing, competitive dynamics and pricing logic.
• Collect and analyse competitor pricing, portfolio, distribution and activation activity.
• Track structural market changes and emerging competitive threats, translating intelligence into actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in market intelligence, strategy or business analysis.
• Strong skills in business modelling, forecasting and competitor analysis.
• Ability to turn market data into clear strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Experience in pricing, reporting or market research is a plus.
